DMCA Policy

Unified Techy respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. As such, we comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and have established the following policy to address claims of copyright infringement.

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content on the Unified Techy website infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a notice in accordance with the DMCA by providing the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Unified Techy to locate the material.
  3. Information reasonably sufficient to permit Unified Techy to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
  4. A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, Unified Techy will take appropriate action to remove or disable access to the infringing material and will notify the user responsible for the content in question. If the user believes that the material was removed in error or that the user has the right to use the material, the user may submit a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include the following information:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  2. A statement that the user has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  3. The user’s name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that the user consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the user is located, or if the user is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Unified Techy may be found, and that the user will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice or an agent of such person.
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.

If a valid counter-notice is received, Unified Techy may restore the material in question unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the user responsible for the content.

Unified Techy reserves the right to terminate the account of any user who repeatedly infringes upon the copyright rights of others.

This DMCA policy is effective as of January 1, 2021, and may be revised from time to time.
